Future of the nation

During our childhood people more specifically teachers referred to us FUTURE OF THE NATION . I used to get goosebumps when they called me that. Did they say it just to make us study better or did they wanted us to contribute towards the nation? What did I do so far for the nation ?

Answer time :

• Increased the average value of  weight of men in India .
• Voted during election.
• Graduated to increase the literacy numbers of my nation.
• Ummmmmmm
• Cant remember more ..

Nothing significant on the list . I can do a bit more or at-least point out somethings that annoy me :

1. I was on Mumbai roads at prime time ,there was heavy traffic and the bus window seat gace me a clear view of people traveling alone to Offices in there huge SUVs and Sedans.

As long as these are not the ones who are physically disabled or ,people who cant step into buses or cabs due to its high ground clearance ,they should use buses( AC buses are available in metro cities) or bikes.

• Sedans and SUVs are long enough to consume more road length and lead to traffic jam at a higher rate than buses.Bus carries 20+ passengers (Imagine all 20 getting there own SUV on road .)
• Its OK they are rich , have a status to maintain ,but by driving  alone in their huge SUV s and Sedans to work  they are actually causing a traffic jam .This leads to wastage of time of all the people who get stuck in traffic even those who are using public buses and further leads to offices waiting for their employees. So they are ultimately slowing down the growth of their nation.(you will agree this only if you are punctual :P)This can be avoided if you shared a trip with your colleague or travelled in AC bus
• If they drive alone because they dont like any company on the ride,  they can afford a bike with much greater mileage  and compactness.No need to mention the fuel economy calculations .
